The Suri Ecosystem — A Private, Multi-Tenant AI Infrastructure for Mijn AI Omgeving
Context
Mijn AI Omgeving needed more than a single AI feature — they needed a foundation: private AI infrastructure they fully control, deployable across multiple product lines without rebuilding the groundwork each time.
The problem
Standing up isolated, one-off AI integrations per product doesn't scale, and for a Netherlands-based company operating under strict European data-handling expectations, infrastructure built ad hoc through a portal isn't auditable or reproducible.
Approach
We designed and built the Suri ecosystem as a shared foundation other products are built on top of, not a single application.
- Four independently-scalable Next.js applications in a Turborepo monorepo with a shared component library and domain-level multi-tenancy.
- The entire cloud footprint provisioned as code — 16 modular Azure Bicep files covering Container Apps, Azure AI Search, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, Application Insights, and Container Registry — zero manual portal configuration.
- Production workloads run on Kubernetes (Azure AKS), which we deploy and operate directly, including pod scaling, rollouts, and cluster-level operations.
- GitHub Actions CI/CD automates build, test, and deployment of both the Next.js and .NET 8 services across development, staging, and production.

Outcome
Two flagship products run on top of this foundation today — a RAG-based support copilot and an autonomous content publishing engine — each documented as its own case study.
